It read: ‘I have had many pivotal events that called me closer to God. The latest one was after having Morgan and realizing that there was more to my life than being a fully dedicated good enough mother.’ That was when I joined a school for the Healing Arts and learned how to be a better person as well as an Energy Healer. I have to say that in hindsight, I was a much better mother because I came from a place of being fulfilled. I was not looking to my children to provide 100% meaning to my life. I was a mother yes, AND much more than that. If I could give any mother advice on how to live a Passionate life and do a fab job at Mothering, is to “Screw Guilt.” (A friend of mine had it on a button that she wore on her jacket: SCREW GUILT) Healthy guilt is fine, it lets us know when we have done something wrong and motivates us to make a plan to correct it. Living a meaningful, passionate life is not something to be ashamed of, especially if that involves more than the job of Mothering. My Divine Mission is to be a Healer and Teacher as well as a Mother. I know for certain that when I am involved in being true to those aspects of myself, I really am a great example to my girls and to myself on how to be a whole woman. As Shakespeare says through Hamlet, “To thine own self be true.” I think he might have meant, To thine own SELVES be true. Worth the listen, especially since I am mentioned at the beginning as I took the interviewer through The Passion Test individually and then I took the company through The Passion Test For Business.
